Sean Braune, PhD
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. You might be feeling unsure, nervous, or even wondering if your problems are “big enough” to bring into the room. If that’s where you are, I want to reassure you: there’s space here for all of it—your questions, your doubts, your hope for something better.

Treatment
Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, reflect, and listen more closely to yourself. I'm a psychodynamic psychotherapist who works with thoughtful and curious individuals who want to better understand the patterns that shape their relationships, work, and sense of self. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or simply a feeling that something isn't quite right, we can explore it together. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change starts with deeper self-understanding. This often means becoming more aware of the unconscious thoughts, feelings, and past experiences that may be influencing your present life. By making space for these inner realities to emerge, you may begin to feel more freedom, clarity, and self-acceptance.Every person who comes to therapy brings a unique story, and I aim to meet you as you are—without judgment and with genuine curiosity. I strive to offer a reliable and engaged presence, not a blank screen. Together, we can work toward insight, healing, and the possibility of living in a way that feels more authentic and aligned with what matters most to you.

I work with people who are curious about their inner lives, who may feel stuck or overwhelmed, and who are ready (or at least willing) to look inward in order to move forward.Whatever is bringing you to therapy—stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, loss, or just a sense that something isn’t quite right—I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where we can think through things together. Our work will be guided by your pace and your goals, and we’ll explore not just the immediate problems, but the deeper patterns that may be shaping your experience.Therapy is not always easy, but it can be meaningful, even life-changing. I aim to be a steady, compassionate presence—someone who will listen closely, help you feel understood, and walk alongside you as you come to know yourself more fully.
